Fishing

When you are looking for places to fish please consult the Permitted Uses page of this website: Permitted Uses

Always be sure to know Ontario fishing regulations before fishing on any watercourse. These regulations are enforced by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (OMNRF or MNRF).

Conservation officers of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry enforce rules regulations on our lands and in our waters.

Check the regulations for rules such as seasons and for numbers you can keep based on licence type.

In addition to following the legal requirements of the regulations to avoid penalties we encourage you to practise responsible fishing practices and catch-and-release.

We hope you enjoy your outdoors experience.
